Job description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician with strong technical experience and a customer-focused approach to support end users both remotely and onsite. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, professionalism, and the ability to build positive relationships with users while providing timely technical assistance., The ideal candidate will have experience supporting desktop environments, resolving hardware and software issues, and assisting users in a Windows-based enterprise environment., * Provide onsite and remote desktop support to end users.

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop and laptop hardware and software.
  • Support operating systems, email applications, productivity software, and user accounts.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
  • Perform device imaging, deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Manage and document incidents and requests using a ticketing system.
  • Support mobile devices and peripheral equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management and hardware lifecycle activities.
  • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary.

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in physically demanding positions when necessary., * Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.
  • Familiarity with device imaging and deployment processes.
  • Experience working with ticket management systems.
  • Knowledge of email platforms, collaboration tools, and productivity applications.

Benefits & conditions

This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
