Job description
- Design and build ETL processes, data ingestion, and streaming application using AWS services, SQL, Python, Snowflake, and AWS Redshift
- Integrate data extracts, loads and reports with BI or Analytical applications.
- Maintain data pipelines and marketing related applications, which includes evaluating and resolving production issues and extending support as needed.
- Support data facilitating marketing initiatives in Campaign Management Tools like Adobe Suite and Redpoint
- Collaborate with analysts and engineers, utilizing ETL tools like Redpoint Data Management, Control-M, and Databricks
- Optimize SQL queries and ensure system and tool performance in addition to managing the AWS infrastructure they run on.
Requirements
- Perform duties independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge and experience with AWS Cloud services
- Understanding of RDBMS and modern Data Warehousing concepts
- Skilled in analyzing data to meet business goals and resolve complex IT issues
- Experienced in SQL, Python, and Linux/Unix shell scripting
- Excellent communication, problem solving & documentation skills
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Control-M and Databricks
Desired Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
- Masters in Data Science or related field preferred
- AWS certifications
- Experience with Agile teams delivering data solutions
