Job description
Leidos' Defense Sensors is seeking a to join our Huntsville, Alabama team developing state of the art Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) and Mobile Short-Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) aligned solutions. This role will report to the Program Manager responsible for full kill chain C-UAS sensing, decision aids, and effectors. As a Systems Integration engineer you will help radar, command and control, effector, and cyber integrated product teams identify opportunities to collaborate in creating a system of systems to protect the United States and its allies from aerial attacks from adversaries . This role will collaborate across a diverse team of engineering leaders & professionals. This role relies on an ability to absorb knowledge and work across engineering disciplines in a cross functional and collaborative fashion. Frequent travel to customer sites worldwide or to engage directly with our team in Huntsville Alabama is required (25% or monthly).

Maintain integrated master schedule for multiple prototype systems and test/demonstration events

Attend customer/sponsor meetings to coordinate test objectives , personnel, and equipment

Coordinate or assist in coordinating across Integrated Product Teams to support test entry criteria preparation,

Work with systems engineers on requirement changes
Requirements
Demonstrated willingness to learn new requirements engineering methodologies through professional development and cross-functional collaboration

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4-8 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:

Defense systems analysis and evaluation

Data collection and technical documentation
-
Technical leadership in military technology environments
-
Experience with RADAR systems, electronic warfare, and military command and control
-
Experience in requirements development and rapid prototyping
-
Demonstrated ability to:

Use data-driven decision making

Meet operational/occupational safety standards

Conduct root cause analysis for technical recommendations

Must be a US citizen , possess and Maintain a DoW Secret clearance or able to obtain/maintain DoW Secret clearance
Test and Evaluation experience in Department of War systems

Demonstrated experience in experiment design and data analysis

Technical writing experience
