Mid level ETL Developer

• Design, develop, test, and support ETL processes and data integration solutions.
• Create and optimize PostgreSQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Perform data quality checks and implement data validation procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL, database, and data integrity issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Document ETL processes, data mappings, and technical specifications.
• Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of enterprise data platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience with public sector or healthcare data projects.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices.

• 5+ years of experience as an ETL Developer or Data Integration Developer.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL including query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience with data quality validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and monitoring.
• Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.
• Experience working with large datasets and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Health Care/Health Data environments.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience using Azure Data Studio.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Code (VS Code) and MSSQL extensions/plugins.

Location: MUST BE Local to the Sacramento, CA region and be available to work onsite, although the position is mostly remote work currently. Office hours are between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Compensation: DOE and compensation package of benefits. Range of $80K - 105K, W2 hourly $50-60/hr.
