Job description

Design and manage scalable AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code, automation, and modern DevOps practices.

Drive Business Impact Support the cloud platforms that power reservations, owner services, guest experiences, business intelligence, and enterprise applications across Vacatia.

Engineer for Reliability Help build highly available, secure, and resilient infrastructure that supports critical hospitality operations around the clock.

Collaborate Across Engineering Partner with Software Engineering, Data, Security, Product, and IT teams to deliver infrastructure that enables innovation across the business.

Grow with Emerging Technologies Expand your expertise in cloud automation, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, observability, disaster recovery, and next-generation cloud technologies., * Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

  • Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines that accelerate software delivery while improving reliability and deployment consistency
  • Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions that proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Strengthen cloud security through IAM best practices, secrets management, policy enforcement, and automated compliance controls
  • Support disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, infrastructure testing, and business continuity initiatives
  • Partner with Software Engineering, Product, Data, and IT teams to design infrastructure that supports current and future application needs
  • Migrate on-premises infrastructure, VMware, Hyper-V, and physical servers into AWS cloud environments
  • Contribute to infrastructure documentation, operational standards, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization

Requirements

If you're passionate about cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, and building reliable systems that operate at scale, we'd love to meet you., * 3+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Hands-on experience designing and administering AWS cloud environments using services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and related technologies
  • Experience migrating virtualized and physical infrastructure from VMware, Hyper-V, or on-premises environments into AWS
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure automation
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications; Kubernetes experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, or transactional eCommerce environments in production
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices including IAM, least privilege, secrets management, encryption, and compliance
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools in distributed cloud environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional engineering teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
  • Experience supporting FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimization, or infrastructure performance tuning
  • Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or other compliance frameworks
  • Experience supporting disaster recovery, incident response, or business continuity planning
  • Exposure to scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
