Job description
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Implement automation for system provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and InfoSec teams to ensure secure and compliant system operations.
- Optimize performance and availability of enterprise systems including compute, storage, and networking.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure operations.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, administration and Cloud Ops.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms - Azure preferred.
- Experience with automation tools such as Git Ops, Ansible, Terraform, Claude AI.
- Familiarity with container orchestration, service mesh technologies, monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus), and logging frameworks.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2).
- Experience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery architectures., * Experience in fintech or regulated enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and enterprise networking.
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure tools or technical publications.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-team collaboration.

Benefits & conditions
The targeted full-time base salary for this position is $87,500 to $131,100 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate's geographical location.
