Job description
The Transfer Specialist III supports Tulane University's Transfer Credit Hub by performing advanced transfer credit evaluation and maintaining the institutional infrastructure that supports transfer articulation. The position evaluates complex transfer coursework, manages articulation tables and equivalency data, and collaborates with academic departments to establish transfer course equivalencies. Working under the direction of the Director of the Transfer Credit Hub, this position ensures the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of transfer articulation processes while supporting institutional enrollment initiatives and transfer student mobility. Transfer credit articulation and evaluation processes are managed within institutional systems including Banner, TES (Transfer Evaluation System), Transferology, and Parchment Raptor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in registrar operations, transfer credit evaluation, admissions processing, or academic records administration
- Experience working with enterprise student information systems such as Banner or comparable systems
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience evaluating complex transfer coursework in a registrar or admissions office

Experience managing articulation tables or transfer equivalency databases

Experience using transfer articulation systems such as TES, Transferology, or Raptor

Familiarity with degree audit systems such as DegreeWorks

Knowledge of transfer credit evaluation best practices and articulation processes in higher education

Knowledge of academic records management, registrar operations, and FERPA compliance requirements

Ability to interpret academic catalogs, policies, and course descriptions to determine transfer credit equivalencies

Experience working with student information systems, preferably Banner

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage complex workflows

Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, advisors, admissions staff, and administrative offices

Strong written and verbal communication skills
