IT Support Engineer

• Act as the initial point of contact for computer related concerns.
• Make sure workstations and applications work well in the field and home office.
• Maintain and configure computers, printers, iPhones and other devices.
• Archive, image, ship and recover technology equipment.
• Manage Active Directory, Office 365 and other accounts.
• Manage network devices including switches, modems, and phone system.
• Physically install cubicle hardware, mounting brackets and other miscellaneous devices.
• Be a go-to technical resource for the company.
• Create documentation and conduct training for end users.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, IT, or programming field.
• 3 years' experience helping people with computer problems, both in-person and remote.
• Great customer service - desire to help and interact with users.
• Helpful demeanor - help, teach, train and share best practices.
• Acute attention to detail to set up and document systems consistently and thoroughly.
• Experience with Microsoft products: Server 2016/2019, Win 11, Office 365.
• History working with cabling, patch panels, punch downs, Ethernet, racks, air conditioning, power.
• Ability to develop and communicate daily strategies and plans.
• Is accustomed to the always available nature of small business IT in a 24/7 service organization.
• Can handle fixing "anything that is plugged in".

Preferred:

• Experience automating tasks via coding / scripting.
• Experience using AI to work more efficiently.
• Experience with databases or web development (PHP / MySQL / Javascript / HTML / CSS).
