Job description

Provide day-to-day IT support for laboratory and quality systems, including LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS, laboratory instruments, workstations, printers, and peripheral devices.

Experience supporting Manufacturing, Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and Research & Development (R&D) environments.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system connectivity issues to minimize laboratory downtime and maintain operational continuity.

Experience supporting laboratory instruments such as HPLC, Dissolution, UV, FTIR, and other analytical equipment.

Support Windows operating systems, Active Directory, user account administration, security groups, and access management.

Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade laboratory computers, servers, software applications, and network-connected devices.

Coordinate with Infrastructure, Network, Cybersecurity, and Application Support teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Manage incident, problem, and change requests through the IT Service Management (ITSM) process.

Perform system monitoring, backup verification, disaster recovery testing, and preventive maintenance activities.

Support laboratory instrument integrations with enterprise systems, databases, and network infrastructure.

Assist with IT asset management, software licensing, equipment lifecycle planning, and vendor coordination.

Provide after-hours and on-call support for critical laboratory and manufacturing systems as required.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, system diagrams, and support procedures.

Support audits and inspections by providing system documentation, access reports, backup records, and validation evidence.

Train end users on IT systems, security awareness, and best practices to improve system utilization and reduce support incidents.
Requirements
- Knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, VLANs, wireless infrastructure, and server administration.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, cybersecurity tools, and enterprise backup solutions.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or other IT ticketing systems.
