Job description

  • Design, engineer, operate, and secure Active Directory forests, domains, trusts, and organizational units.
  • Stand up new Active Directory environments and decommission legacy environments.
  • Partner with IAM and Privileged Access Management (PAM) teams to design and support privileged access controls.
  • Focus on automation and operational improvements using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate Active Directory health issues, including authentication, replication, and DNS dependencies.
  • Support integrations between Active Directory and identity governance, access request, and authentication platforms.
  • Develop integration patterns with AWS to facilitate authentication with Active Directory.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members through knowledge sharing and weekly "teach-back" sessions.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Active Directory Subject Matter Expert to join the Identity and Access Management team. This individual will play a key role in both on-premises and cloud-based identity environments, focusing on Active Directory modernization, automation, and infrastructure improvements. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can navigate ambiguity, drive modernization initiatives, mentor junior team members, and ultimately grow into a more architecture-focused role., Experience: A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Active Directory in large, complex enterprise environments is required. Ideally, candidates will possess 8 or more years of strong Active Directory expertise., * Strong expertise in Active Directory, including domain setup, management, and hybrid identity infrastructure.

  • Experience with AWS and its Active Directory implementation options (e.g., Managed AD, self-hosted).
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across authentication, replication, DNS, and access issues.
  • Experience integrating Active Directory with identity governance or privileged access management platforms., * Experience managing and automating environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
  • A background in DevOps practices and mindset.
  • Experience supporting global, multi-domain, or multi-region Active Directory environments.
  • Relevant professional certifications are considered a plus but are not required.
