Job description

We are looking for a skilled Erlang Developer to design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and distributed applications powering next-generation robotics and warehouse automation platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Erlang/OTP, concurrent programming, and distributed systems, with a passion for building resilient enterprise-grade solutions., *Design and develop robust applications using Erlang/OTP. *Build highly available, distributed, and real-time systems for large-scale operations. *Develop and optimize backend services handling high-volume concurrent transactions. *Collaborate with Robotics, Product, Platform, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable solutions. *Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues. *Design fault-tolerant architectures leveraging Erlang supervision trees and OTP principles. *Develop REST APIs and integrate with external enterprise applications. *Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability. *Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. *Create technical documentation and architectural design artifacts.

Requirements

*Strong experience in Erlang programming. *Hands-on expertise with Erlang/OTP framework. *Good understanding of distributed systems and concurrent programming concepts. *Experience with message-driven architectures and event-based systems. *Knowledge of TCP/IP, sockets, networking, and communication protocols. *Experience working with Linux environments. *Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. *Strong debugging and performance tuning skills. *Experience with Git and CI/CD practices. *Understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.

Preferred Skills *Experience with Elixir. *Exposure to Robotics, IoT, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or Supply Chain platforms. *Knowledge of RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other messaging systems. *Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. *Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. *Understanding of real-time data processing systems., *Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field. *3+ years of hands-on software development experience. *Demonstrated experience building scalable distributed applications.

Nice to Have *Experience working in automation, robotics, logistics, or warehouse technology domains. *Open-source contributions in Erlang/Elixir ecosystem. *Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
