Job description
Our Scrum Master focuses on guiding agile teams to predictable delivery of high-quality software and outstanding customer experiences. This role supports program strategy, roadmap, and product development plans by leading cross-functional development teams in leveraging agile methodology and scrum practices. The goal is to maximize team performance and effectiveness., * Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.
- Partner with the Product Owner and Program Manager to escalate challenges and implement agile practice corrections.
- Act as a coach to the development teams, providing education on agile best practices and supporting product planning.
- Analyze the impact of new solutions on existing workflows and recommend process changes.
- Complete and distribute sprint work cycle and monthly status reports to stakeholders.
- Prepare and monitor capacity and velocity models to assist in sprint planning and delivery forecasting.
- Track and monitor dependencies and potential blockers through cross-team communication.
- Collaborate with managers to track team progress and support work through dependencies by fostering communication and coordination.
- Ensure the development team aligns with the organization's IT governance structure and standards.
- Monitor the development and execution of test plans to ensure compliance with program strategy.
Requirements
Experience: Five or more years of experience working with software development teams on agile projects using scrum techniques. Familiarity with SAFe or other scaling frameworks is required. Proven ability to influence and navigate ongoing agile transformation while fostering continuous improvement.
Education: A bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
Certifications: Certified Scrum Master through scrum.org, or equivalent certification.

Work is generally performed within an office or home office environment. The working environment is generally favorable, with no exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, dust, or other factors.
