Job description

We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support in a fast-paced judicial environment. This is a fully onsite role supporting end users with desktop, software, and courtroom audio/visual technologies. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, learning new applications, and delivering exceptional customer support in a professional setting., * Provide onsite technical support for end users, including judges, court staff, and administrative personnel.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve PC hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues.
  • Support courtroom audio/video and recording systems during live court proceedings.
  • Learn and support court-specific applications, including document management and case management systems.
  • Assist users with day-to-day technical questions and system usage.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the central IT support team when necessary.
  • Maintain excellent customer service while supporting users in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Document issues and resolutions as required.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Desktop Support, Help Desk, or Application Support.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications and technologies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, user-facing environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests while maintaining professionalism.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting Audio/Visual (AV) equipment or conference room technologies.
  • Knowledge of Zoom or hybrid meeting platforms.
  • Experience with document management systems.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office Suite administration.
  • Experience supporting legal, government, or public sector environments is a plus.
