Job description

U.S. Gold Bureau is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our customer and revenue technology ecosystem - the connected set of CRM, ERP, and integration systems that power how we acquire leads, serve customers, process orders, and manage precious-metals and IRA accounts.

This is a hands-on, systems-oriented product role. You will sit at the center of ongoing efforts to modernize how our sales, marketing, accounting, and operations teams work, including the platform improvements and data integrations that keep the ecosystem running smoothly. You'll translate messy, cross-functional business needs into well-scoped work for a development team, and you'll be accountable for the health, accuracy, and usability of the systems our revenue teams depend on every day.

You'll thrive here if you take extreme ownership: you see a broken workflow and go interview the sales rep yourself, you dig into the data model until you understand it cold, and you write the precise engineering ticket that leaves no room for ambiguity - no one has to ask you to. You treat the health of these systems as your personal responsibility, chase down the root cause instead of waiting for someone to hand it to you, and own the outcome from first request to shipped result.

What You'll Own:

  • CRM platform strategy and roadmap. Own the product roadmap for our CRM and the surrounding revenue systems - prioritizing migrations, workflow automation, record architecture, and reporting against business impact.
  • Cross-system data integrity. Be the person who cares most about whether records, orders, leads, and accounts sync correctly across our CRM, ERP, and integration middleware. Diagnose sync failures, race conditions, duplicate/merge issues, and stale-data bugs, and drive them to resolution.
  • Lead lifecycle and scoring. Own how leads are captured (web forms, affiliate channels, imports), scored, routed to reps, and progressed through the customer lifecycle. Partner with marketing and sales on the rules and automation behind it.
  • Sales and account tooling. Improve the day-to-day experience for sales reps and account teams - contact/deal records, call logging and transcription, dashboards and per-rep KPIs, IRA and portfolio account details, and returns (RMA) handling.
  • Order and transaction flows. Support the systems where orders, opportunities, payments, and accounting data move between platforms, including e-commerce checkout and downstream ERP processing.
  • Discovery and documentation. Run discovery spikes, audit existing fields and workflows, and produce the documentation that lets a distributed team build confidently.

What You'll Do Day to Day:

  • Partner with sales, marketing, accounting, and operations stakeholders to uncover the real problem behind a request - then decide whether it's worth building.
  • Write clear, well-scoped stories, bugs, and spikes with acceptance criteria that engineers and QA can execute against without a follow-up meeting.
  • Prioritize a backlog that spans net-new features, platform migration work, integration fixes, and data-quality defects - and make defensible trade-offs when everything feels urgent.
  • Own the roadmap and communicate status, risks, and trade-offs to development leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate releases across interconnected systems where a change in one platform ripples into others.
  • Validate that shipped work actually solved the problem, and close the loop with the teams who asked for it., We've deliberately built an AI-native product and engineering practice, and this role is designed around it. If you're the kind of PM who wants to work at the frontier of how the job is changing, you'll feel at home here.
  • AI and agents are core to the toolkit, not a novelty. Cursor and Claude are part of a product manager's daily life - for discovery, drafting specs, querying data, writing tickets, and reasoning about our systems. We expect you to use them fluently and push them further.
  • Freedom to build and run your own agents. You'll have the latitude to set up and manage automation and agents (for example, Workato agents) that take real work off your plate - from data hygiene to routing to routine ops - and to own them end to end.
  • Modern, fast development practices. We've modernized how we work and moved to Linear for planning and execution. Expect a tight, low-friction toolchain and a team that keeps sharpening it.
  • Room to shape how AI is used. Because we're still early in this shift, you won't just consume the tooling - you'll influence how the product and the team adopt AI next.

Why This Role Matters:

The systems this role owns touch nearly every dollar the company earns - from the first lead a marketing campaign generates to the order an accountant reconciles months later. Getting them right means faster reps, cleaner data, fewer manual workarounds, and a foundation the business can grow on. It's a rare product role where the impact is both technical and directly commercial.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - or verifiable equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in product management, product ownership, or a closely related systems/operations role - ideally with meaningful time spent on internal or B2B/back-office systems rather than only consumer apps.
  • A strong track record owning CRM, ERP, or other systems-of-record, including workflow automation, record/data modeling, and reporting.
  • Fluency with system integration concepts - how data syncs between platforms, why it breaks, and how to reason about pipelines, field mapping, and eventual consistency. You don't need to write the integration code, but you need to speak the language and debug at the design level.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous, cross-functional business needs into precise, buildable engineering work, and to run discovery when the requirements aren't yet clear.
  • Comfort with data: reading records, spotting bad data, writing simple queries or reading query results, and defining validation rules.
  • Excellent written communication and stakeholder management - you can align sales, marketing, accounting, and engineering around a single plan.
  • Strong prioritization judgment in an environment that mixes feature work, migrations, and a steady stream of defects.
  • Fluency with AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) in day-to-day product work, and genuine interest in building and running automation/agents to multiply your own output.

Preferred Competencies (not required):

  • Direct experience with HubSpot and/or NetSuite.
  • Experience with an integration/iPaaS platform such as Boomi, Workato, or similar.
  • Familiarity with lead-scoring or credit/identity data providers (e.g., TransUnion), web form tooling (WordPress/HubSpot forms), tax automation (AvaTax), or payment/checkout systems.
  • Exposure to financial services, precious metals, IRAs/custodial accounts, or another regulated/high-trust commerce environment.
  • Experience leading a platform migration between systems of record.
