Software Dev Engineer III

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer for a Content Platform team. This role involves acting as the first level of support and development for incoming production software application issues related to merchandising applications. The solutions developed will directly impact customers. This position offers an opportunity to expand coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications., * Develop monitoring solutions for production applications.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and implement fixes for internally developed code.
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and resolve issues.
• Improve systems that gather metrics on application features.
• Update, track, and resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate with development teams on corporate and divisional software projects.
• Update and enhance current software.
• Automate support processes and document systems.

Education: A Computer Science degree or equivalent technical degree is required.

Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.

Technical Skills: The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills. The ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coding skills in Perl, C/C++, and/or Java.
• Technical skills including Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, and UNIX/LINUX.
