Job description

  • Collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and central analytics to gather data and metrics requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analysis using tools such as Tableau.
  • Build and optimize ETL processes to run marketing campaigns at scale and automate campaign reporting.
  • Write high-quality SQL to retrieve and analyze large datasets across multiple platforms.
  • Partner with analytics and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and resolve data integrity and accuracy issues across reporting, data infrastructure, and dashboards.

Requirements

We are seeking a Data Scientist III to join our data analytics and engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, large-scale data pipelines, ETL, BI tooling, and AI-centric environments and a proven ability to design automated analytics solutions, build and optimize data workflows, and enable data-driven decisions at scale., * Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL (e.g., Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL).
  • Experience in AI-centric organizations or hands-on use of AI tools.
  • Proven ability to build, optimize, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Experience with distributed data extraction, ingestion, and processing from multiple sources.
  • Business Intelligence tooling experience (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy) and report automation.
  • Proficiency with Python and R for data processing and analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to work independently and guide best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to self-manage projects and set stakeholder expectations.
  • Background in large-scale data environments typical of big tech., * Top must-haves: AI-centric experience, expert SQL, large-scale pipeline development, independent leadership.
  • Ideal profile: Data engineer with strong analyst skills; proven record operating on millions of rows.
  • Disqualifier: Only small-scale pipeline experience.
  • Interview process: Up to 3 rounds (screen, technical, stakeholder with growth marketer).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; STEAM/STEM preferred.
