Job description

The Data Scientist will develop, automate, and enhance analytics and reporting solutions using Qlik and Looker (LookML), create compelling UI/UX data visualizations, maintain existing reports, and leverage Python or other programming languages to predict outcomes, generate Natural Language Generation (NLG) insights, and simplify the consumption of business-critical data., * Collaborate across the Data & Analytics organization to enrich data pipelines, semantic layers, and visualization reports through effective data architecture.

  • Gather and document business requirements to establish baseline data structures supporting new and existing use cases.
  • Perform journey analysis, KPI creation, cohort segmentation, and automation initiatives.
  • Stitch together data from multiple sources to create a comprehensive 360-degree customer view.
  • Design and deploy actionable dashboards that enable business owners to monitor performance and optimize omnichannel experiences.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for metrics including:
  • Customer Experience (CX) KPIs
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Revenue
  • Churn
  • Call-in Rate
  • Identify insights to reduce journey fallout, channel hopping, post-interaction contact rates and improve human interaction efficiency.

Requirements

This role will focus on designing and implementing solutions that improve data clarity, data lineage, and reduce data transfer. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of AI/ML models, the algorithm development process, and the ability to derive meaningful business insights from data., * Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to query relational and non-relational databases, including:
  • Teradata
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) / BigQuery
  • Hadoop / Hive SQL
  • Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Looker and Qlik.
  • Experience conducting research, performing data analysis, and managing projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with big data technology implementations., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
  • Business
  • Marketing
  • Information Systems
  • Analytics / Business Intelligence
  • Engineering
  • Mathematics
  • Statistics
  • Behavioral Sciences
  • Other relevant technical disciplines
  • Eight or more years of experience in analytics and dashboard development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience connecting sales, operational, and channel data across multiple data sources.

Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning tools such as:

  • R
  • Python
  • Spark
  • Deep Learning techniques
  • Other advanced analytics tools
  • Prior exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with a high-level understanding of ML models and data science model metrics for generating business insights.
