Job description

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Security Architect to join our growing Enterprise Security Office. This position plays a critical role in embedding security into the design, architecture, and lifecycle of enterprise platforms, SaaS solutions, and cloud environments.

You will partner with enterprise architects, digital transformation teams, and IT platform owners to ensure that every system, integration, and application is securely designed, compliant, and resilient - from initial concept through deployment and ongoing operation.

This role requires a seasoned, technically hands-on security architect who can perform threat modeling, assess risks, define controls, and design secure architectures across hybrid and cloud-native environments, particularly within Microsoft Azure., * Serve as the security design authority for enterprise platforms, integrations, and digital transformation projects.

  • Conduct threat modeling, architecture risk assessments, and security posture evaluations for new and existing systems.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and digital product teams to define and implement secure-by-design practices.
  • Develop and communicate security architecture blueprints, patterns, and control requirements.
  • Evaluate cloud and on-premise solutions to ensure they meet security and business needs - focusing on Azure, Office 365, Oracle, and SaaS platforms.
  • Review and secure data flows, APIs, and system integrations across enterprise platforms.
  • Provide guidance on identity and access management (IAM), data protection, network defense, and secure communications.
  • Collaborate with red, blue, and threat management teams to align defensive architecture with operational detection and response capabilities.
  • Identify gaps in tools, processes, and controls - and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with platform and threat management teams to integrate or optimize security tools as needed.
  • Mentor and coach junior security engineers and analysts, building their skills in threat modeling, secure design, and risk assessment.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing and technical training across security and platform teams to raise the overall security capability of the group.

Requirements

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in information security architecture, enterprise IT systems, or cybersecurity engineering.

  • Proven experience designing secure architectures for cloud (Azure preferred), on-prem, and hybrid environments.

  • Deep understanding of:

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)

  • Data security and encryption

  • Application and API security

  • Network and infrastructure security

  • Secure SDLC and DevSecOps concepts

Experience conducting or leading threat modeling, risk assessments, and security control implementation.

Working knowledge of industry security and risk frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, NIST 800-53A, and NIST RMF.

Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate security considerations to technical and business teams.

Tool-agnostic mindset - adaptable to different security and monitoring technologies.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with SaaS and cloud platform integrations (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Office 365).
  • Experience working in large enterprise or global IT environments.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent credentials).
  • Awareness of emerging AI-related security risks (e.g., data exposure through AI tools, model misuse) is a plus.
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior security staff.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks and design mitigations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment with evolving priorities.
