Ruby API Developer

Seeking to fill in a full stack developer for immediate hybrid contract opportunity with my direct client in Richfield MN., We are looking for a skilled engineer who would ideally have some additional familiarity with Dev Ops technologies and even experience with AWS EKS and Argo CD. We are interested in finding a candidate that can coach and teach other junior engineers on the team. We would like this candidate to have strong leadership and communication skills as well.

Yes, role is hybrid. 2 days in a week

Client have a scheduled monthly office day where attendance is expected. Other office attendance encouraged as needed.

Our department is focused on providing a platform for engineering teams to deploy their software. We provide a variety of tools and software for enabling these engineering teams to work and ship code., We are looking for a Software Engineer to help plan and execute major platform features and capabilities. In this role you will be responsible for planning and executing coarse grained features and capabilities. A strong candidate will be skilled at breaking down large problems and defining acceptance criteria for work and will require minimal oversight or direction.

5+ years relevant experience with a bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience

• 5-10+ years of application development experience

• 3+ years of Front end Angular JS exp and 8+ years of backend with strong full stack application development experience

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby or another object-oriented programming language

• 2+ years of experience with Github Actions

• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure or Platform Operations

• Experience with AWS Administration

• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot for software development
