Job description
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues through systematic debugging techniques.
- Analyze application and system logs to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Perform performance profiling and diagnostics to improve application efficiency and reliability.
- Support incident response activities, including issue triage, analysis, and resolution.
Prompt Engineering
- Design, develop, and optimize prompts for various AI models, user personas, and business use cases.
- Apply few-shot and zero-shot prompting techniques to guide model behavior and improve output quality.
- Create prompts that enable seamless interaction with APIs, databases, and external tools.
- Evaluate and refine prompt performance to support accuracy, consistency, and user experience.
Functional Testing & Quality Assurance
- Execute end-to-end functional testing for AI-enabled and traditional software applications.
- Utilize test management and automation tools such as Jira, qTest, Merlin, Selenium, and WebdriverIO.
- Track, document, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met across releases.
- Apply strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to support testing strategy and execution.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced AI/LLM Test Engineer who combines strong troubleshooting expertise, prompt engineering knowledge, and software testing experience to help validate and optimize AI-driven applications. This role will focus on identifying issues, improving model performance, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across complex systems., * 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
- 2+ years of experience in prompt engineering or working with generative AI/LLM-based solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in functional testing and quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with test management, automation, and defect-tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments., * Experience testing AI, machine learning, or generative AI applications.
- Familiarity with API testing and integrations.
- Exposure to cloud-based applications and modern software development practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
