Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

1. Operations/Admin Candidate (less desirable): Knows how to create workspaces, assign permissions, monitor capacity, troubleshoot user access, manage governance settings, and keep the platform running.

2. Engineering Candidate (more desirable): Designs data architectures, builds pipelines, writes code, develops reusable patterns, integrates systems, automates deployments, and creates scalable data products., Proven experience designing and building solutions within Microsoft Fabric.

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Fabric Lakehouses

• Fabric Data Warehouses

• Data Pipelines

• Notebooks

• OneLake

Strong development experience in:

PySpark

SQL

Python (preferred)

Experience building scalable data architectures and enterprise data platforms.

Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitHub or similar DevOps tools.

Experience integrating cloud-hosted and enterprise data sources across AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Google Cloud Platform.

Strong understanding of data engineering best practices, including performance optimization, data modeling, and automation.

Ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment and establish engineering standards and reusable frameworks.

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
