Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the technology infrastructure that supports a busy physician-owned imaging center, ensuring high system availability, security, and performance., * Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform basic hardware repairs on Microsoft Windows Servers (2003 through 2025).
- Provide basic administration and support for Unix/Linux servers.
- Utilize remote server management technologies including Dell OpenManage/iDRAC and HPE iLO.
- Maintain and troubleshoot desktop workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Perform PC imaging, recovery, backup, HDD/SSD cloning, and system restoration.
- Maintain and perform basic repairs on laser printers and other office hardware.
- Administer and support the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Administer and support the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Maintain PACS Oracle databases, including backups and recovery procedures.
- Maintain RIS SQL databases, including maintenance, analysis, backups, and recovery.
- Support DICOM and HL7 connectivity between imaging modalities and information systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot local and wide-area networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and network hardware.
- Maintain secure remote access solutions for physicians and staff.
- Administer Active Directory, Windows domains, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, SSL certificates, and domain management.
- Administer and maintain onsite email servers and email security.
- Support website hosting, DNS records, SSL certificates, and related internet services.
- Administer Blink Voice cloud telecommunications system supporting over 20 IP phone extensions.
- Maintain fax systems and electronic fax services.
- Maintain NAS and DAS storage systems and oversee backup strategies and disaster recovery procedures.
- Coordinate with software vendors regarding updates, patches, upgrades, and technical support.
- Monitor system security and assist with cybersecurity initiatives.
- Ensure reliable network connectivity and workstation performance.
- Install, configure, and maintain new hardware and software.
- Provide technical support to radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff.
- Participate in technology planning, infrastructure upgrades, and workflow improvements., * Microsoft Windows Server administration (2003-2025)
