Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Integration and API Architecture with extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise API solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for API onboarding and Azure API Management (APIM) to Apigee Hybrid migration programs across multiple implementation waves.
  • Design and enforce enterprise API architecture standards, including proxy design, shared flows, reusable templates, security policies, and API governance best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee Hybrid, or Apigee X, including API proxy development, policy configuration, traffic management, analytics, and lifecycle management.
  • Implement robust API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Mutual TLS (mTLS), rate limiting, threat protection, logging, auditing, and PII masking to meet enterprise security standards.
  • Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, design governance, and technical mentoring across multiple delivery teams while driving reusable API frameworks and standardization.
  • Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams to support environment readiness, API onboarding, infrastructure integration, and successful migration activities.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for API deployments using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Postman, Karate, and modern DevOps practices to automate build, test, and release processes.
  • Experience working within Banking or Financial Services environments with knowledge of PCI-DSS, OSFI, PIPEDA, regulatory compliance, and enterprise integration standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, client communication, leadership, and knowledge transfer skills with the ability to drive API Center of Excellence (CoE/C4E) initiatives and mentor technical teams.
