Job description
We are seeking a qualified and self-motivated ServiceNow Developer to support the execution of a regulatory-driven IT Asset Management (ITAM) program. This role will develop and maintain ServiceNow capabilities across multiple workstreams including Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro), Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), and CMDB. The developer will partner closely with ITAM Process Owners, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to deliver regulator-ready, auditable solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop solutions within ServiceNow SAM Pro, HAM Pro, and CMDB.
- Support regulatory-aligned asset inventory, lifecycle tracking, and attestation requirements.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and discovery/source-of-truth platforms including:
- Armis Centrix
- ServiceNow Discovery
- SCCM / Intune
- Jamf
- Develop integrations using:
- IntegrationHub
- REST/SOAP APIs
- MID Server
- Configure:
- CMDB Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
- CSDM
- Data certification workflows
- Develop:
- SAM Pro normalization & reconciliation logic
- License metric automation
- HAM Pro lifecycle states, models, and audit logic
- Build ServiceNow platform functionality including:
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- ACLs
- Flow Designer
- Scoped Applications
- Produce technical documentation, update sets, and Automated Test Framework (ATF) artifacts.
- Partner with Business Analysts and Project Coordinators to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support UAT, defect resolution, and project delivery.
- Provide audit evidence supporting regulatory reviews, control validation, and remediation activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Minimum 3 years working with:
- SAM Pro
- HAM Pro
- CMDB
- Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow platform development experience including:
- Glide APIs
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- ACLs
- Flow Designer
- Scoped Applications
- Experience with:
- CMDB design
- CSDM
- IRE
- Data quality and certification frameworks
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with discovery and endpoint management platforms using:
- IntegrationHub
- REST/SOAP
- MID Server
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
- Experience supporting regulatory IT Asset Management or IT General Controls (ITGC) initiatives.
- Experience in regulated industries such as:
- Financial Services (strongly preferred)
- Healthcare
- Other highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with:
- Audit evidence
- Change management
- Segregation of duties
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience on current ServiceNow releases (Yokohama, Zurich, or newer).

- Experience with:

- Experience supporting Internal or External IT Audits.
- Experience with:
- Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- CI/CD for ServiceNow
