Job description
Building Automation & Controls * Design, program, test, and optimize BAS solutions. * Troubleshoot controls programming, hardware, software, and systems integration. * Support HVAC optimization, controls upgrades, and energy efficiency initiatives. * Develop programming modifications and technical documentation.
Project Delivery * Perform facility assessments and site surveys. * Develop controls design documents and review contractor submittals. * Support construction, commissioning, startup, QA/QC, and project closeout. * Complete energy calculations, airflow calculations, and performance analysis.
Technical Leadership * Support metering solutions and systems optimization. * Create technical reports, standards, and training materials. * Mentor project teams and provide technical guidance throughout project execution., Regional travel to client sites and offices (expenses reimbursed weekly). * Combination of office, construction, and mechanical room environments. * Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 100 pounds.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has 5â10+ years of BAS programming and design experience, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and can work independently while collaborating with engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients., 5â10+ years of Building Automation Systems programming and design experience. * Strong experience with BAS controls, HVAC systems, controls integration, and troubleshooting. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office. * Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. * Willingness to travel 30%â50%.
Preferred Qualifications * Certified Energy Manager (CEM). * Experience with Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Trane, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, or Tridium Niagara. * AutoCAD proficiency. * Healthcare or Higher Education project experience. * Experience with retro-commissioning and energy optimization.
