Job description
- Architects and implements automated third-party risk management processes, assessment frameworks, workflows, integrations, remediation tracking mechanisms, and reporting capabilities.
- Conducts enterprise-wide assessments of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), cybersecurity, and operational processes and designs future-state architectures supporting automation, scalability, efficiency, and organizational maturity.
- Designs and implements automated compliance monitoring, evidence collection, control validation, and reporting solutions supporting HIPAA, CJIS, PCI-DSS, FERPA, GDPR, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Designs and architects' enterprise reporting frameworks, executive dashboards, analytics platforms, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance measurements supporting risk compliance, security, and operational decision-making.
- Provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise on enterprise automation architecture, AI governance architecture, compliance automation, workflow orchestration, and security transformation initiatives.
- Develops enterprise AI adoption strategies and identifies opportunities to integrate AI capabilities within governance, risk management, compliance, cybersecurity, and business operations.
- Architects, develops, and implements AI-assisted workflows, intelligent automation solutions, and decision-support capabilities to improve scalability, operational effectiveness, and business outcomes.
- Designs enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and implementation frameworks supporting governance, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, automation, and AI initiatives.
- Establishes governance, risk management, and oversight processes supporting responsible AI adoption within the organization.
- Measures and reports on the effectiveness, efficiency gains, business value, and risk reduction associated with automation and AI-enabled initiatives.
- Develops enterprise analytics strategies and leverages security, compliance, operational, and risk-related data to identify trends, forecast risks, measure program effectiveness, and support executive decision-making.
- Architects, administers, integrates, and optimizes enterprise GRC platforms, workflow automation solutions, reporting systems, AI-enabled technologies, and supporting security technologies.
- Develops strategic technology roadmaps, business cases, enterprise architecture, and implementation plans for automation, analytics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develops and maintains enterprise security transformation roadmaps aligned with organizational strategic objectives and technology modernization efforts.
- Leads cross-functional transformation initiatives with involving Cybersecurity, Legal, IT, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, and business stakeholders to align security modernization efforts with organizational objectives.
- Leads enterprise security transformation initiatives focused on automation, AI enablement, compliance modernization, analytics, governance effectiveness, and operational maturity.
- Develops documentation, procedures, workflows, standards, and training materials supporting implemented solutions and process improvements.
- Evaluates emerging technologies and industry trends and develops strategic recommendations regarding adoption, integration, and long-term organizational impact.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings and other activities and events as requested.
- Performs additional related duties, as required.
Requirements
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including Security Architecture, Security Engineering, Cloud Security, and Infrastructure Security.
- Experience designing and reviewing enterprise security architectures across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, NIST, CIS Controls, and cybersecurity architecture best practices.
- Experience supporting cloud migration and security modernization initiatives, including security tool selection, architecture reviews, and technical risk assessments.
- Technical leadership experience mentoring engineers and serving as a trusted advisor for complex security and infrastructure decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field is required.
