Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with a strong focus on frontend engineering to join our team for a 6-month engagement. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our user-facing applications, leveraging your deep expertise in Angular to build dynamic single-page applications. A key aspect of this position is your ability to bridge the gap between the frontend and backend, ensuring seamless integration with complex backend APIs within a highly regulated enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy high-performance Angular single-page applications (SPAs).
Integrate frontend applications with complex backend systems via REST APIs, handling versioning, backward compatibility, and secure authentication.
Implement secure access controls utilizing LDAP/Active Directory integration, token-based authentication, and role/entitlement models.
Ensure code reliability and prevent breaking changes by writing comprehensive unit and integration tests (specifically within a .NET environment).
Manage release governance and safe rollout practices utilizing CI/CD pipelines and feature-flag driven delivery.
Collaborate effectively in a large-enterprise setting, adhering strictly to documentation, change control, and peer review standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex client-server integration issues efficiently.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on frontend application development.
Extensive experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting Angular single-page applications.
Proven experience in REST endpoint development, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, and API authentication/authorization.
Strong quality assurance mindset with demonstrable experience writing unit and integration tests (e.g., in .NET) and maintaining regression awareness.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and release governance within highly regulated enterprise environments.
Deep understanding of secure secret handling and integration with LDAP/Active Directory.
Working knowledge of feature-flag driven delivery and modern, safe deployment practices.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a structured environment requiring stringent change control and peer review protocols.
Preferred qualifications
Proficiency or working knowledge of backend technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, SQL, or related server-side frameworks.
Domain experience in enterprise communication systems, customer engagement routing, interactive voice response (IVR) concepts, or workforce management integrations.
Familiarity with various SDKs, XML, SCXML/VXML, or platform-specific integration frameworks.
