Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible to: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements Work closely with the Chief Engineer to define feature specifications and build products Conduct design and code reviews. Work on problems of diverse scopes where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance. Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems.

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 14+ years of experience Four years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree, An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation Experience working in an Agile software development environment Experience using Jira and Confluence Experience with the following software development skills:

Git

Java, C++, and/or Python

Relational database, such as Postgres

Desired Qualifications: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience with:

Docker/Kubernetes

HAProxy

Nginx

Elastic Stack
