Job description
We are seeking a motivated Cable Technician / Data Center Support Technician to join our team in Fairless Hills, PA. This position provides technical support to end users while assisting with data center operations, network infrastructure, and low-voltage cabling projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cat 5/Cat 6 cabling, basic networking knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-service mindset., * Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, and in-person requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Document, track, and monitor support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
- Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling.
- Support network infrastructure, workstation deployments, and equipment installations.
- Assist with server rack installations, cable management, and data center operations.
- Follow work instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain accurate records in ticketing, inventory, and asset management systems.
- Escalate issues as needed to ensure efficient resolution.

Requirements
Leadership Management Low Voltage Communication Microsoft Excel Problem Solving Desktop Support Customer Service Microsoft Office, * 0-3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, help desk, telecom, low-voltage cabling, or a related field.
- Experience with Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under supervision and follow established procedures., Experience in one or more of the following environments:
- Low-voltage cabling
- Telecommunications
- Data centers
- Construction
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 35 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver server racks, carts, and equipment safely as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and wearing required PPE.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet operational deadlines.
Education
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience, training, and certifications will be considered.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
