Job description
- Provide onsite and remote L1/L2 support for end users at client locations
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 issues including user profiles, performance, printing, applications, and peripherals
- Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, MFA/login issues)
- Perform workstation deployment and setup: PCs/laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and mobile devices
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting: connectivity, Wi-Fi, DNS/DHCP fundamentals, switching basics
- Support common business applications and line-of-business software as needed
- Use ticketing and RMM tools to manage work, document troubleshooting steps, and maintain accurate resolution notes
- Escalate issues appropriately with clear diagnostics and context
- Maintain accurate documentation for client environments and standard processes
- Represent Citara professionally onsite, building trust through communication and follow-through
Requirements
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys a mix of onsite and remote support, likes solving real user problems, and takes pride in providing a high-quality experience. You'll work directly with client end-users and IT stakeholders, handling L1/L2 issues, deployments, troubleshooting, and onsite support needs. You'll be supported by a broader team and clear processes-so you can focus on delivering results.
We are specifically looking for high performers who are eager to grow. If you are the type of person who takes ownership, builds your skills continuously, and wants a clear path forward, you will do well here., * 3+ years of experience in an IT support role (MSP experience strongly preferred)
- Strong Windows desktop troubleshooting skills
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 user support and identity/login troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (no advanced engineering required)
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests while maintaining quality
- Coachability and a growth mindset: you actively seek feedback, learn quickly, and improve your craft
- Valid driver's license and comfort traveling to client sites (local/regional)
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Intune / Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection tools
- Experience supporting MacOS
- VoIP or firewall exposure
