Job description

11-15 years of experience. Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management. Plans, organizes and implements projects in support of District's growing information demands. seeking a SharePoint Systems Administrator. This position will perform administrative support and management of SharePoint sites including internal collaboration and publishing sites, the government agency Intranet sites, related collaborative/social technologies and interfaces to external applications. The Administrator will work with all agency site owners to develop and support site design, governance, and advanced functionality. Additional responsibilities include: Implementation and management of SharePoint site collections Gather requirements from business including content inventory, business process flows and other details affecting the management and organization of their information. Develop and maintain custom site designs with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath Create and maintain site collection libraries, lists, custom forms, web parts, and develop custom workflows. Create and maintain lists, document libraries, and custom content types. Manage permissions, enterprise content, security, and governance. Demonstrate technology to business units and update and direct users to training material and SharePoint resources., 1. Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.

  1. Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities.
  2. Develops technical applications to support users.
  3. Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
  4. Provides training for system products and procedures.
  5. Performs application upgrades.
  6. Performs monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real- time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
  7. Troubleshoots problems.
  8. Ensures project lifecycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures., 11-15 yrs leading projects, ensuring they are in compliance with established standards/procedures Required 11 Years Advanced skills in the creation and maintenance of system documentation, and change management and problem management practices Required 11 Years Experience in the computing systems environment with demonstrated ability to manage diverse technologies Required 11 Years Demonstrated ability to lead people, teams, and work efforts, including those with non-IT participation. Required 6 Years Excellent written and oral communication skills and human relations skills Required 6 Years Knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013 and related technologies. Required 6 Years Knowledge of .Net, Powershell, HTML, XML, C#, CSS, Javascript, and supporting libraries such as jquery, etc. Required 5

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the computing systems environment with demonstrated ability to manage diverse technologies. Knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013 and related technologies. Experience with Metalogix Control Point and Content Matrix a plus. Advanced skills in the creation and maintenance of system documentation, and change management and problem management practices. Knowledge of .Net, Powershell, HTML, XML, C#, CSS, Javascript, and supporting libraries such as jQuery, etc, or like programming technologies and the ability to provide supporting solutions using these technologies. Demonstrated ability to lead people, teams, and work efforts, including those with non-IT participation. Excellent written and oral communication skills and human relations skills Strong organizational and project management skills Strong and decisive decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure, Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience Required/Desired Skills Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position.
