Test Engineer / Senior SQA Engineer

This role executes functional, regression, accessibility, and automated testing within a two-week Agile/SAFe cadence. The engineer collaborates closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure high-quality, defect-free releases across DEV * TEST * IMP * PROD environments., * Participate in Agile ceremonies and validate acceptance criteria during refinement and sprint planning.

• Execute functional, integration, cross-browser, and regression testing for Drupal-based applications.
• Perform pre-deployment testing including functional, compatibility, and content validation.
• Conduct post-deployment testing including smoke tests and release-specific regression.
• Log defects with clear reproduction steps and collaboration with developers for resolution.
• Maintain test cases, test data, and traceability in Jira and GitHub.
• Support accessibility testing using SiteImprove, ANDI, and WCAG standards.
• Validate CI/CD-triggered test runs and ensure automated regression suites pass before deployment.
• Provide test summaries, defect trends, and release readiness assessments.

• 4-6 years of software QA/testing experience.
• Experience with IV&V testing.
• Experience with Agile testing, regression testing, and cross-browser validation.
• Experience with Jira, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of accessibility testing and Section 508/WCAG.
• Strong documentation and defect-triage skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Website and website pages, in multiple browser types and mobile.
• Experience testing Drupal or CMS platforms.
• Experience with Jenkins, Monocart, or visual regression tools.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Playwright preferred but not required).
• Prior federal or HHS/CMS experience.
