What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a team of 10+ engineers, driving performance, mentorship, and hiring
- Own delivery of complex, distributed systems across multiple domains
- Partner with architects and product leaders to define scalable, cloud-native solutions
- Drive modernization efforts including AWS migration, event-driven architecture, and performance optimization
- Champion engineering excellence across CI/CD, DevOps, and system reliability
Requirements

- Strong Java background (Java 8+) with deep understanding of OOP, multithreading, and system design
- Proven leadership experience managing 10+ engineers (including hiring, performance management, and mentorship)
- Experience leading transformation initiatives (cloud, microservices, modernization)
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or other event-streaming technologies
- Exposure to AWS and modern DevOps tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice to Have
- AWS certifications
- Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or AppDynamics
- Background in financial services or high-transaction environments
