Job description
We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator L2 to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure in a complex production environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, cloud networking, and network security. This role requires expertise in ensuring high availability, performance, and security across LAN/WAN, hybrid cloud, and wireless environments while supporting incident resolution, infrastructure monitoring, and continuous network improvements.

- Perform vulnerability assessments, security hardening, and remediation activities.
- Monitor network health using tools such as SolarWinds, Datadog, Grafana, SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues involving routing protocols, switching, wireless, and cloud connectivity.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, CMDB records, and operational procedures.
- Automate routine network administration tasks using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Collaborate with NOC, SOC, Service Desk, cloud, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and improve network reliability.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and security standards including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and Zero Trust principles.
Requirements
- 14+ years of experience in Network Administration or Network Engineering.
- Strong experience with routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, QoS).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VPNs, and enterprise firewalls.
- Experience supporting AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud networking.
- Knowledge of network monitoring, automation, and ITSM tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative enterprise IT environment.
