If you're ready to take the next step in your engineering journey, discover what's possible at LPL Financial., We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Prospect and Client Management Team. In this role, you will design and build event-sourced, cloud-native microservices that manage participant data for millions of investors. You will leverage modern AWS technologies to implement CQRS, event sourcing, and real-time event streaming patterns while deploying highly scalable, resilient services to production., * Design, develop, and test cloud-native services using modern .NET technologies hosted on AWS.

  • Build and deploy containerized applications to AWS EKS using Helm, blue/green deployments, and auto-scaling strategies.
  • Implement event-driven architectures leveraging CQRS, event sourcing, and real-time event streaming.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform across AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, and RDS.
  • Design RESTful APIs following XPS Process API patterns with versioning and backward compatibility.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, QA engineers, and product owners through event storming and domain modeling sessions to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in distributed systems, enjoys solving complex data and integration challenges, and is passionate about building reliable financial platforms at scale., * 4+ years of professional software development experience using C# (.NET 6+).

  • 3+ years of experience implementing CQRS and event sourcing in distributed systems.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying solutions on AWS, including containerized workloads.
  • Experience with event streaming or messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka or similar).
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.

  • Experience with AWS Glue or ETL workflows using PySpark.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
