Job description
- Define automation strategy, framework architecture, and tool selection guidelines.
- Design and build scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
- Architect integrated automation solutions covering Web, API, Mobile, Database, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish standards for framework design, reporting, logging, parallel execution, test data management, and quality governance.
- Lead automation adoption, technical reviews, and mentoring of automation engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, and Test Automation.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Automation Testing experience.
- Must be currently involved in designing/building automation frameworks and writing automation code.
- Proven experience architecting automation solutions across Web, API, Mobile, and Database testing., * Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and API automation frameworks.
- Strong experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud and container technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes).
Essential Architect-Level Competencies
The candidate should be able to:
- Justify automation tool selection based on project requirements and architecture constraints.
- Design a framework from scratch, including execution strategy, reporting, logging, parallelization, test data management, and CI/CD integration.
- Define automation approaches for Web, API, Mobile Native Apps, and Database validation.
- Explain framework design decisions, trade-offs, and scalability considerations in detail.
