We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help scale and support modern cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering initiatives for large-scale microservices-based applications. This role will work closely with Software Engineers, ML Engineers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions while enabling faster delivery of new features through automation and GitOps practices., * Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily in AWS, with some Azure exposure.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and GitOps workflows.
- Automate infrastructure validation, testing, and operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Manage and support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, including migration and modernization initiatives.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to design scalable, high-performing solutions while balancing performance, availability, and cloud costs.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues across cloud and platform environments.
- Implement security, networking, resiliency, and disaster recovery best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, contribute to architectural discussions, and help drive engineering best practices across the team.
- Participate in a 4th-level on-call rotation supporting critical production systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or Software Engineer in a production environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployments, with the ability to quickly understand and apply Kubernetes patterns.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services; exposure to Azure is a plus.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and modern source control practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, preferably Python.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and cost optimization principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, influence engineering decisions, and help teams adopt automation-first practices.
