Are you ready to put your Managerial experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems wants you to join our team as a Product Support Manager 1 and join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! The role will be based in Lake Charles, LA.
Your duties include, but not limited to:
- You will have direct supervisory or management responsibilities for one integrated support element. This will include systems analysis, spares, provisioning, technical data, training, maintenance or modifications, support equipment and facilities.
- You will be responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day-to-day workflow, and operating costs).
- Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance of a specific unit or work package; life cycle support type contract or broad responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a delivery order or small technical services-type contract.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree and 5 years of relevant experience.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required.

Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, nights, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.

Experience managing property and/or support equipment.

Experience with procurement of consumables, tooling, and repair tooling.

Experience in min/max shelf stock analysis and recommendation.

Experience with asset management and distribution between multiple locations CONUS and OCONUS.

Aviation and Aerospace Industry Operational Logistics supervisory experience.

Military experience in a logistics discipline to include deployments in a multi-level environment.

Experience with the procurement of consumables and aviation tooling requirements.

Experience managing government property.

SAP knowledge and experience.

Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives that drive change in an organization.

Experience managing subcontractors/vendors that support the organizations mission.

Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent tasks or workstreams, meeting deadlines in both independent and team environments.

Experience in the aerospace/defense industry or within the Department of Defense.

Knowledge and experience in DOD acquisition.

Experience using military DD Form 1149 is required for accepting GFP equipment.

Familiarity with basis of estimates and proposal development.
Benefits & conditions
Primary Level Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $142,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
