Job description
We are seeking an experienced C/C++ Embedded/Firmware Developer with strong expertise in WiFi technologies, Linux, and IP networking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and debugging embedded software and firmware for next-generation wireless networking products. This role requires hands-on experience with WiFi 5/6/6E/7, Linux-based embedded systems, and networking protocols., * Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and firmware using C/C++.
- Develop and optimize wireless networking features for Linux-based embedded platforms.
- Implement and troubleshoot WiFi functionality across WiFi 5/6/6E/7 standards.
- Develop and debug IP networking protocols and network stack components.
- Analyze system logs, identify root causes, and resolve complex software issues.
- Collaborate with hardware, QA, and system engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize firmware performance, reliability, and memory utilization.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements

8 10 years of experience in Embedded Software/Firmware Development.

Strong programming experience in C/C++.

Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux development.

Strong understanding of WiFi technologies:

WiFi 5 (802.11ac)

WiFi 7 (802.11be)
Strong knowledge of IP Networking concepts and protocols:
- TCP/IP
- IPv4/IPv6
- UDP
- DHCP
- DNS
- ARP
- ICMP
Experience with socket programming and network stack development.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in embedded environments.
Experience with firmware development, integration, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with Git and software development best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing firmware for wireless routers, access points, gateways, modems, or IoT devices.
- Experience with device driver development.
- Knowledge of networking hardware and wireless chipsets such as Qualcomm, Broadcom, Intel, or MediaTek.
- Experience with embedded build systems and cross-compilation.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
