Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Vendor Relationship Analyst to support vendor registration, onboarding, and compliance activities within a fast-paced purchasing environment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and vendors throughout the vendor registration lifecycle, ensuring all documentation, compliance requirements, and eligibility standards are met.The ideal candidate has exceptional customer service skills, thrives in a high-volume environment, handles confidential financial information with discretion, and enjoys working in a process-driven role. Experience with vendor onboarding, contract administration, supplier registration, or compliance is highly preferred.Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders submitting vendor registration and update requests.
- Process vendor registration and onboarding requests through internal workflow systems.
- Review vendor documentation, including tax forms, banking information, and compliance records for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform vendor background verification and compliance reviews following established policies and procedures.
- Ensure vendors meet eligibility requirements and comply with restricted or prohibited vendor guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments regarding documentation requirements, registration status, and next steps.
- Maintain accurate vendor records within electronic databases and document management systems.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Power BI to track vendor data, generate reports, and support vendor evaluation activities.
- Identify discrepancies, compliance concerns, or missing information and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Prioritize multiple requests while maintaining high levels of accuracy and meeting established deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to improve vendor registration processes and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Assist with additional purchasing and vendor management responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, vendor onboarding, vendor registration, supplier management, contract administration, compliance, procurement support, or a related administrative function.
- Experience handling confidential financial, banking, tax, or compliance-related information.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Experience working in purchasing, procurement, government, regulated industries, or public-sector environments is preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background screening.
