Job description

The Assistant Development Manager supports the execution of active and future development projects within HALL Park in Frisco, Texas. The role provides day today coordination across internal departments and external partners for office, multifamily, hospitality, retail, public realm, and amenity focused projects. This position is responsible for assisting with project management activities from pre development through closeout., Project Coordination and Management

  • Support daily project management activities across design, construction, leasing, operations, accounting, legal, consultants, and third party partners.
  • Assist with project execution through all phases, including pre development, design, permitting, construction, turnover, and closeout.
  • Maintain project trackers, logs, schedules, and documentation to support timely decision making and project progress.

Budgeting, Scheduling, and Reporting

  • Assist with development budgets, project schedules, consultant contracts, construction contracts, pay applications, and change orders.
  • Track project milestones, critical path activities, outstanding issues, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Prepare internal reporting materials, including project updates, executive summaries, lender materials, meeting agendas, and status reports.

Design and Construction Support

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to support design reviews, pricing exercises, value engineering, and project decisions.
  • Review project documentation, including drawings, budgets, schedules, proposals, meeting minutes, consultant reports, and construction progress updates.
  • Participate in OAC meetings, design meetings, budget reviews, site walks, and internal project meetings.

Pre Development and Future Phases

  • Assist with due diligence, entitlement, permitting, procurement, and preconstruction activities for future phases of HALL Park.
  • Assist in identifying project risks, coordination gaps, budget issues, schedule concerns, and recommended solutions.

Administrative and Organizational Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.
  • Support internal communication and coordination across departments involved in project execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or project management. Experience working for a General Contractor is strongly preferred.

  • Direct experience with development budgets, construction schedules, consultant coordination, design documentation, and contractor interaction.

  • Strong understanding of the real estate development process, including pre-development, design, permitting, construction, turnover, and operations.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, track details, and follow through in a fast paced project environment.

  • Ability to work effectively with senior leadership, consultants, contractors, lenders, tenants, and internal departments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred:

  • Experience with ground up multifamily, office, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial development.
  • Experience in real estate finance.
  • Experience with project management, scheduling, or construction software.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting, bending, carrying, standing, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity, driving, and occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
