Job description
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls such as Cisco ASA.
- Support network infrastructure components like LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), SAN (Storage Area Network), and VPN (Virtual Private Network) setups.
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds or PRTG, identifying issues related to network protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems, including routing issues, network hardware failures, or configuration errors.
- Help implement security measures including Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), and network security protocols like SSL/TLS and IPsec.
- Support system administration tasks on operating systems such as Windows, Linux distributions like Debian or CentOS, and UNIX-based systems including BSD or Solaris.
- Contribute to the deployment of load balancers for high availability and performance optimization across applications and services.

- Familiarity with network hardware support such as Cisco routers/switches or Juniper devices.
- Knowledge of network security practices including firewall management, VPN configuration, vulnerability assessment, and system hardening techniques.
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell is a plus for automation tasks.
- Exposure to virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or ESXi is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.
- A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred; relevant certifications like CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are advantageous but not required.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies within a collaborative Agile environment.
