Job description
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-quality C++ applications for embedded Linux systems, focusing on low-latency and high-performance solutions.
- Design and develop Python-based automation frameworks and tooling to optimize test execution, integration, and validation processes.
- Build and enhance hardware/software sensor emulators, maintaining and extending existing test assets and validation frameworks.
- Integrate embedded software with FPGA-based and ECU hardware over interfaces such as Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and CAN.
- Test, troubleshoot, and verify hardware and software components to ensure product quality and reliability through comprehensive verification strategies.

Our client, a leading innovator in hardware systems and embedded technology, is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Software Engineer, you will be supporting the Autonomy Hardware Systems V&V team, contributing to the development of embedded software and testing infrastructure that drives safety-critical applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a passion for advancing technology in a collaborative environment., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ development, especially in low-latency, high-performance programming in user and kernel space.
- Extensive experience with Linux development, including networking and system-level programming.
- Proficiency in Python, test automation (e.g., Pytest), Git, build systems (e.g., Bazel), and unit testing frameworks (e.g., GTest).
- Hands-on experience with embedded interfaces such as Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and CAN for hardware/software integration testing.
