Job description

This role provides IT support for a growing behavioral health company, managing help desk operations, employee onboarding/offboarding, hardware inventory, and day-to-day technology support for office and clinical staff.

This is a hybrid position with three days a week in office (SouthSide of Pittsburgh) and two days a week remote. Parking pass in a nearby lot will be provided. This role will report to the senior leadership.

What You Will Do

Help Desk & End-User Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for technology issues across all company locations, via ticketing system, phone, and in-person support
  • Triage, resolve, and escalate tickets, maintaining service level standards for response and resolution time
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral issues for end users
  • Maintain accurate ticket documentation and contribute to a growing internal knowledge base

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Provision and deprovision user accounts, devices, and system access for new hires and departing employees
  • Coordinate hardware setup and deployment for new employees across office and clinical roles
  • Maintain onboarding/offboarding checklists and ensure timely, accurate execution

Device & Hardware Management

  • Maintain hardware inventory across all company locations (laptops, tablets, peripherals)
  • Support device imaging, configuration, and lifecycle management
  • Assist with mobile device management (MDM) enrollment and troubleshooting (Microsoft Intune)

Microsoft 365 & Systems Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Support user identity and access management tasks
  • Assist with basic network and connectivity troubleshooting across multiple sites

Security & Compliance Support

  • Follow established security protocols and support endpoint protection practices
  • Support compliance with HIPAA technical safeguards relevant to IT operations
  • Report security incidents and support incident response procedures as directed

Documentation & Communication

  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
  • Communicate proactively with staff and leadership on ticket status, outages, and planned maintenance
  • Participate in regular check-ins and reporting on help desk metrics and operational status

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an IT help desk, support, or coordinator role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
  • Experience supporting end users across multiple physical locations or a growing organization
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • Associate's degree in IT/related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, or similar MDM/identity platforms
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft MD-102, or similar) or active pursuit of certification
  • Experience in a compliance-driven industry (healthcare, education, financial services)
  • Experience with IT ticketing/service management platforms
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a clinical services environment
  • Exposure to endpoint security tools (Microsoft Defender or similar), This role requires heavy computer work and requires the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing - including frequent talking, hearing, writing, typing, reading, and significant comprehension. The employee frequently is also required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms/hands. Regular and consistent attendance required. Ability to work well under stress and managing workload of multiple priorities. Ability to drive locally between offices on an as needed basis required.
