Oracle PL/SQL Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL for Oracle 19c/21c.
• Implement and optimize large Oracle databases and related utilities for high-volume environments.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL and PL/SQL code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise projects.
• Contribute to Agile delivery by grooming stories, creating designs, and translating requirements into deliverables.
• Establish and maintain reusable development standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentoring across multiple Agile teams.
• Support CI/CD migration and integration using platforms such as Horizon, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
• Analyze existing codebases and infrastructure to understand current state prior to implementing changes.

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, database performance tuning, and enterprise solution delivery and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize large-scale Oracle databases and mentor teams in an Agile environment., * 7 to 15 years of experience in software development with focus on Oracle databases.

• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and analytic functions.
• Hands-on experience developing database utilities and implementing large Oracle databases.
• Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of SQL and PL/SQL code.
• Experience delivering enterprise projects, preferably within financial institutions.
• Experience working with front-end development teams and integrating database services.
• Agile methodology experience including Jira story grooming and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to design solution approaches for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with object databases and other relational database systems.
• Background with CI/CD tools and SDM platforms such as Horizon, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
