Job description
- Design and develop scalable, distributed backend systems using Golang
- Implement REST APIs and gRPC services
- Work with Distributed Systems and Microservices architecture
- Utilize Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB for data storage and processing
- Optimize system performance and ensure fault tolerance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to system design, data structures, and algorithms
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
Requirements
We are looking for a Backend Developer with 6+ Years of strong hands-on Experience as a Golang developer to join a high-impact engineering team building scalable, distributed backend systems. This is a 100% onsite role in Fremont, CA, so local Bay Area candidates are strongly preferred., * 6-8+ years of backend software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Golang
- Hands-on experience with Distributed Systems & Microservices
- Experience with REST APIs and gRPC
- Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB
- Strong System Design, Data Structures & Algorithms skills
- Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant backend services
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in C#, Java, or C++
- Experience with Elasticsearch and ClickHouse
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience optimizing high-throughput distributed systems, Candidates should be able to clearly explain:
- Their individual technical contributions
- Architecture and design decisions
- Scalability and performance optimizations
