Job description
We are seeking a senior Android developer with expertise in native test automation solutions using Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing automation scripts for mobile applications and will participate in the full application life-cycle, from development and testing to release., * Participate in the full app life-cycle, including developing automation scripts, testing, and releasing to the app store.
- Collaborate with product teams on new ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates.
- Stay current on features in relevant products and platforms.
- Drive best practices to continuously improve products, processes, and tools.
- Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
- Design, develop, and prototype Android mobile applications for internal and external use.
- Ensure the quality and performance of the application meet specifications.
- Identify and resolve application bottlenecks and fix bugs before release.
- Publish and maintain applications on the App Store.
Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering is required.
Experience: This role typically requires 5-7 years of experience, including 5+ years of experience on the Android Platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
Technical Skills:
- Development experience in Core Java.
- Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium.
- Proficiency in designing and building native mobile applications on the Android platform.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI, Web Services, and Rest Services.
- Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and XML.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with C-based libraries, Biometrics, push notifications, and Camera API usage.

- Experience with continuous integration and unit tests.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week on-site in Charlotte, NC, starting from day one.
