Job description
Our IT Operations Analyst will support the daily technology operations of our electrical and industrial distribution business. The ideal candidate plays a key role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of IT systems across our enterprise, supporting critical infrastructure, and assisting with continuous improvements in IT service delivery., * Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of enterprise IT systems including servers, networks, and business applications.
- Provide Level 2 support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues across warehouse, distribution, and office environments.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and key enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, CRM).
- Assist with the administration of business-critical platforms including ERP, inventory management systems, and order processing tools.
- Collaborate with the IT team to support system upgrades, patching, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Document processes, configurations, known issues, and resolutions to support internal knowledge sharing and training.
- Analyze system logs and performance data to proactively identify areas for operational improvement.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for system support, hardware procurement, and warranty services.
- Assist in maintaining cybersecurity best practices including user training, patch management, and access control reviews.
- Support technology needs during physical inventory counts, warehouse operations, and supply chain events.
- Participate in IT on-call rotation and respond to incidents outside normal business hours as needed., * Responsiveness: Respond to support requests and incidents promptly and professionally
- Reliability: Maintain high availability for IT systems and consistently deliver dependable technical support to end-users.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff, keeping stakeholders informed of issues, resolutions, and project progress.
- Ownership: Take initiative in resolving problems, identifying improvements, and owning tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Teamwork: Collaborate constructively with colleagues, departments, and external vendors, contributing to a positive and solution-focused team culture.

Work Schedule: Primarily office-based with occasional travel to branch locations. Monday through Friday most weeks with possible after hours work as company needs require. Work schedule can vary but will normally be scheduled during operational hours of 7:00am - 5:00 pm.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or technical support, experience may substitute for education.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, NetSuite) in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Comfortable working in industrial environments (e.g., warehouses, distribution centers) as needed.
- Ability to climb ladders or access elevated equipment safely when necessary.
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate tools and computer equipment with precision
