If you feel called to make a meaningful impact through empathetic, person-centered care, and thrive in a culture that values collaboration and purpose, we welcome you to join our team., The Technician is responsible for the following imaging, configuring, deployment, modifying and trouble shooting computer hardware/software including peripherals at the desktop level. The tech takes a pro-active approach in monitoring and performing preliminary diagnostics on computer systems, peripheral equipment and applications. They provide ongoing technical assistance to users on system setups or modifications. They are responsible for the accurate, timely and detailed recording of issues into the IS trouble ticket system. They may be scheduled for first or second line of support within Information Services for helpdesk and computer operations support on any shift. They procure computers, printers, parts and supplies. Requests quotations for budgetary information and purchasing of items. The tech will support all peripherals connected to the Enloe network, including Digital and VOIP phones, cell phones, including smartphones, Copiers, and tablet devices, such as, the iPad.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field OR 6 months experience in desktop support in an enterprise environment
Desired:
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
- Prior computer support experience in a hospital environment
- CompTIA A+ Certified. Microsoft Certified Professional
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
- California Driver's license
- Eligible to be insured under the Medical Center's Liability Policy with DMV Report (and minimum age 21)
- Proof of current auto insurance coverage (no business exclusion) (drives personal and company vehicles)
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Ability to maintain and troubleshoot network applications from a desktop support end. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization. Interpersonal skills necessary to work collaboratively. Working knowledge of personal computer hardware, software, network protocols and topologies. Ability to plan and perform multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Ability to actively participate in meetings and work groups. Ability to interact effectively with and provide service to clients with a broad range of computer knowledge and ability. Ability to work as a team member. Willingness to learn new operating systems and devices in order to support newer technologies such as tablets and smart phones. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Compensation range: $29.34 - $39.61
Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience
