Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Junior SQL / .NET Developer for a top healthcare client. This candidate will join a growing team supporting data processing and transformation initiatives within a healthcare environment. The role is heavily SQL-focused, requiring hands-on experience with stored procedures, indexing, and relational data design, along with exposure to C#/.NET for application-level data handling.
This individual will play a key role in extracting and transforming data from enterprise systems such as FACETS, leveraging SSIS and ETL methodologies to support downstream data platforms. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, eager to learn, and looking for long-term growth while working closely with senior leadership. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear, direct answers are essential for success in this collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day:

Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures for data processing

Work with relational databases to optimize queries and indexing

Extract data from FACETS using SSIS pipelines

Support ETL processes feeding into EDM systems

Build and maintain C# applications to transform and process data

Assist with scheduling and automation using tools like Tidal

Collaborate with senior team members and shadow leadership for growth
Requirements
Strong SQL development experience (1-3 years minimum)

Experience writing SQL stored procedures

Understanding of indexing and relational databases

Experience with C# and .NET development

Ability to clearly and concisely communicate (direct, sharp responses)

Willingness to learn healthcare (HC) industry systems and processes

Ability to work EST hours consistently (starting 9 AM EST) - SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) experience

Any ETL/data pipeline experience

Exposure to FACETS (healthcare platform)

Experience with job schedulers such as Tidal
